The VB6 Cookbook by Mark Bittman

The VB6 Cookbook by Mark Bittman is a great starter book for anyone looking to become a vegetarian or just wants to eat healthier. I have been s vegetarian for almost five years.  I wish this book was around for me around that time.  There were no book like VB6 for someone how wanted to eat more vegetarian yet was still wanting to eat meat.  The was me for the year prior to going pure vegetarian.  Every cookbook was either carnivore or vegetarian.  There was a giant void in that in-between space...until now.  Mark does an amazing job at balancing vegetarian w/ non-veg meals.  I've tried cooking a bunch of these and I didn't change anything.  Nothing was ever need to be tweaked...his recipes are that good!  I highly recommend this fantastic book to anyone who is semi-vegetarian or who is thinking about slowly becoming a vegetarian.

Back Lane Wineries of Napa by Tilar Mazzeo is a must for anyone thinking of traveling to Napa Valley. Tilar does a great job at giving the reading the inside look at Napa Valley wine country. The layout is perfect for planning and traveling with the book. As a wine podcaster of one of iTunes Top 25 Wine Podcasts for the past 102 consecutive months, I think Tilar has done a fantastic job at selection quality wineries to visit. The maps are very easy to read. The winery descriptions are spot on. I also like the educational content for tasting wine. Overall, this is one of the best travel books for Napa Valley Wine Country. - Scott Wilson, 3WineGuys.com
